Chili Pepper Heart Studio Benefitting ICHF

Artist Ken Winford was born with Congenital Heart Disease, and at age 15, he was forced to undergo a major heart surgery after a traumatic accident revealed the issue. After the surgery, he realized how lucky he was to be in such a great hospital with talented cardiac doctors and nurses and that others with the same disease were not always as lucky. Since his life-saving surgery, Ken made it his mission to provide a unique fundraising opportunity for health and sports charities through his distinctive chili pepper heart paintings. Recently, he launched a line of chili pepper heart T-shirts to benefit ICHF as well as Corner of Love and the Uganda Lacrosse Association. Fifty percent of each of these shirts sold will benefit ICHF!

In addition to the original designs featuring countries, Ken also created a T-shirt just for ICHF! The Babyheart shirt features our logo, globe design with several children to represent our deserving patients. One hundred percent of these shirts will benefit ICHF, so check them out and order yours now!

International Children’s Heart Foundation is especially grateful to Ken for his recent donation of artwork to the annual Taste of Caribe event and for continuing his support through the Chili Pepper Heart Studio! You can also follow Chili Pepper Heart Studio on Facebook here.

Mission Statement

The mission of the International Children’s Heart Foundation (ICHF) is to bring the skills, technology and knowledge to cure and care for children with congenital heart disease in developing nations.  ICHF does this regardless of country of origin, race, religion or gender. Our goal is to make the need for ICHF obsolete. We work toward this goal through our medical mission trips, where we operate on children and educate local healthcare professionals.
