Face of the World 2009

Passport of Memphis is proud to announce the International Children's Heart Foundation as the benefactor for their Face of the World USA 2009 Fashion Pageant. The Pageant is scheduled for Sunday, August 2 at 6:00 p.m. in Memphis, Tennessee at Minglewood Hall.
Special guests include Heloisa Alves, Miss Brazil-USA 2007, and Rayanne de Moraes, Miss International Beauty Brazil 2009. Last year's winner, Ms. Jakie Vaz will be there to crown the new Face of the World USA winner. Contestants will represent several of the countries where ICHF provides services. The winner of the Fashion Pageant will become the "face" and spokesperson for the International Children's Heart Foundation for one full year and will accompany one of the foundation medical teams on an overseas surgical mission.
The Pageant was conceived by Fernanda Pinheiro, Passport Men's Store owner, who came to the United States 10 years ago pursuing the American Dream. Thanks to hard work and determination, Ms. Pinheiro has already accomplished more than she ever imaged. Always passionate about the latest fashions, Fernanda has promoted several fashion shows. The Face of the World USA 2008 Pageant was her 16th do date.
Says Ms. Pinheiro, "I believe that everyone really can make a difference in the world if they just try. It's worth all the effort that goes into putting this fashion show together because I believe in the cause. This is my life. It's what I enjoy and love doing!"
