Sunday February 05, 2012 12:00:00 AMMaceio is beautiful! Even though it's "winter" here 20 degrees below the equator., the sun is shining, the beach is rolling, it's WARM!
But, down to business. The ICHF is here for the first time. All of the locals are thrilled to have us here and the trip is going great.
Our first patient, back from the OR. This is Ana Isabel with her mom.
Her mom is so happy because this is this is the first time she has been able to hold Ana since she was born.
TWO MONTHS!!!

This is not EVERYBODY. Somebody was watching the babies and operating! Thanks to all who came to Maceio.
